Easy rainbow fruit skewers for St. Patrick’s Day! I am getting in gear for a magical celebration! It was easy to come up with a healthy treat for our rainbow pot of gold party; rainbow fruit skewers! They are so colorful! Who isn’t enticed by vibrant food? If you have a picky eater, try making these rainbow fruit skewers for a healthy treat.
Let your kids shop for the fruit and create their very own fruit rainbow.
They are super easy to make. Just grab fruits that match the color of the rainbow.
What you need:
- Red- Strawberries
- Orange- Mandarin Oranges
- Green- Green Apple (kiwi would work too!)
- Yellow- Pineapple Chunks
- Blue- Blueberries
- Purple- Red Grapes
Wash and cut up your fruit. Slide each piece of fruit onto the skewer to create a rainbow! Kids will love this healthy, colorful treat.
You can even make a rainbow fruit dessert pizza or a rainbow veggie pizza! Try making your pizza dough in the shape of a rainbow. Talk to you kids about how each fruit or vegetable they chose is good for their bodies. Kids may be more likely to try new foods when they can choose the food and make it!
