Today we have a DIY Weather Mobile + Free Coloring Page for you! April is the perfect time to teach kids about weather! You have sunshine, rain, thunder and in some places, snow. Ella and Annie have put together a weather mobile craft to help your kids discover different types of weather and what they may look like. First, you need to download the free weather coloring page created exclusively for Ella and Annie by Shannon of Painting Paris Pink!
Ages: Pre-K +
Have kids talk about the weather. What is their favorite weather? Have them discuss what season their favorite weather generally occurs in.
Once you have the free weather coloring page printed out, it’s time to color! We teamed up with Oriental Trading to bring you some of these fabulous craft supplies.
What you need:
- Free Weather Mobile Coloring Page (print on white card stock)
- Blue Plastic Plates
- White Tissue Paper
- Hole Punch
- Crayola Markers
Color the weather elements on the coloring page.
Carefully cut out each weather shape.
Cut one blue plate in half and punch holes across the bottom. This is where the weather elements will hang. Spread glue on blue plate. Crumple small white tissue paper square and press them on the glue.
Hole punch a hole in each weather element shape. Use yarn to hand each weather element to the blue plate.
Hang your DIY weather mobile + Free Coloring Page!
