Last year Ella, Annie and Evan wrote their first letter to Santa at the North Pole! I wanted to wait until they could write their very own letters. It was a huge success and we have a couple of ways you can go about writing your letters to Santa to make it super easy and fun! The most exciting part, is that they will get a North Pole postmark on their return letters. Pretty cool, huh?
Letters to Santa must be received by December 15 in order to get a reply. On a black envelope have your child address their envelope to Santa Claus, North Pole. After your kiddos go to bed, open their santa letter and write a reply on the back or you can type one up!
Insert both letters into the new envelope and address it to your child. Add the return address, Santa, North Pole. Don’t forget to add a stamp! Place the completed envelope into a larger envelope and mail to:
North Pole Postmark Postmaster
4141 Postmark Drive
Anchorage, AK 99530-9998
Wait for your letters to arrive and make sure to have your camera handy for all the smiles to come! How cool is that North Pole postmark? I just fell in love with this idea and am so grateful to those volunteers to help make this program possible at USPS!
