Are your kiddos working with shapes right now in school? Maybe you just need a super adorable Christmas shape craft for December. Either way, Ella and Annie are so excited to share with you these oh so sweet triangle Santa, reindeer and snowman!
We are so excited to partner with PenBlade to bring you our Christmas shape craft. PenBlade is a craft and hobby knife that has a stainless steel blade for smooth cut lines. It seriously is the perfect craft knife with a built in ruler and retractable blade. I love that there are different blades for different projects. We used PenBlade #15 to cut our triangle shapes today.
What you need:
Using a cutting mat and the #15 PenBlade, cut two white triangles and one brown triangle. Ours were 6×8″.
Making The Reindeer
Draw two eyes on the reindeer as shown. Add glue to the tip of the reindeer’s nose and sprinkle with fine red glitter. Shake off excess glitter. Cut two reindeer antlers out and glue to the back of the triangle.
Making The Snowman
Cut an orange triangle from construction paper and glue onto the snowman’s face. Draw two eyes above the carrot nose using the black sharpie. Add dots below the nose for the mouth and one pink button on both sides of the mouth. Glue blue rick rack ribbon onto the bottom of the snowman.
Add white glue to the top of the snowman’s triangle head and sprinkle light blue glitter. Shake off excess glitter and glue a light pink pom pom to the tip of the triangle.
Color the white construction paper a skin tone color. Glue on white cotton balls to the base of the triangle for Santa’s beard. Glue on a pink pom pom for the nose. Use the black sharpie to draw the eyes. Spread white glue white on the top half of the triangle and sprinkle fine red glitter onto the glue. Shake off excess glitter. Glue a white pom pom to the tip of the triangle.
